I'd like a cup of cocoa. I forgot to buy any at the store yesterday, and I don't have the ingredients to make homemade. I'll have tea instead.
I'm craving. WHAT I'm craving, I don't know, I'm just wishing I had...something. I tried oatmeal, and that wasn't it. I'm thinking of popcorn, or popcorn balls, but I haven't looked for my recipe yet, so I don't know if I have ingredients for that, either.
Both girls took a bath tonight. Maybe I should send that to Sandra Dodd for her "If I let" page. Kids will actually take baths WITHOUT being forced. Around here, especially on cold winter nights. lol (I make it sound like it's an uncommon occurance. They actually take pretty good care of their bodies.)
Emma did the funniest thing tonight. She got a car magazine out of the trash (it's classifieds that come in the newspaper) and picked out some cars so she can start saving for one. She showed me her list and asked what I thought of them, so we discussed age in buying a car (one was 13 years old) and gas mileage (she had several SUV's) and reliability (she had a couple that are notorious for breaking down). She asked if I had a home magazine...I'll have to find her one next time we go out. She's wanting to save up for a house, too.
Anna practiced her handwriting, then went back to mom's to pick up her memory books she forgot up there. I thought it was awfully sweet of Daddy to take her. I can see a remarkable difference in the way we treat our kids since we started unschooling. Makes it nicer all around. : )
Oscar is laying under my chair with his head on my foot. He's been so sweet lately. He's afraid to move, because Max HASN'T been sweet. Max is sitting next to Oscar's food and water bowls growling. ; ) He (Max) and Luc have been sitting in Daddy's desk chair all curled up together, and Daddy was looking for him and pulled the chair out and Max hissed. He's particularly grumpy today. : ) He's still my sweetie. I'll have to give him some extra attention. The funniest thing today, though. The girls put Oscar's leash on him, then left him lurking about the living room before taking him out. The cats would chase his leash around, picking it up in their teeth...so funny, it looked like they were going to take him out. He caught Miss Pretty Kitty with it, and grabbed it back and carried it off his self. SO cute!
Supposed to be a blog about the kids....and here I go about the pets. lol
