and I should get in bed...instead I'm blogging. I've got it bad. ; ) I was *going* to come home early today, but my sister came up to mom's, then one of my cousins dropped by with her new baby...it's SO cute! She was my best friend for several years during school, then we mostly lost touch after we graduated. She married a fellow we also went to school with (2nd marriage) and it's their first child together (she has a 7 yr. old from her first). It's funny to see them together, and their kids. I never thought I'd see him with a baby, but he's sweet with it. It looks like him, and her older is exactly like her...but with blond hair to her brown. I was amused by this...while we were talking I noticed her pinkie fingernails...they're so long, I remember when we were kids and they would always grow like that, and mine always broke off...I was slightly envious, but her were always yellowed, which kept me from being actually jealous. lol!
I had a good time seeing them and the baby, but I was SO tired when I came home. AND, Justus wasn't through with all his school work yet! I left him and Mom writing three paragraphs titled "My Favorite Book", and answering an essay question for literature....I believe he was putting them off until she got home from work, but he kept putting them off because she was talking to everyone, and it was late before he got started on them. The rest of the week looks easier, though, so that'll be nice. ; )
