These are "some" of the books we bought at the book sale. Mom borrowed 6 to read, and I gave her one, and Daddy sat all his separate, so these are *most* of mine. I got some really good ones. I also got some cool stuff in a few...a bookmark from the Truman Library in a autobiography of Harry S Truman, a poster of Abraham Lincoln in a book about him, and a 1953 prepetual calandar in a book on the American Civil War. They had the most phenominal prices...$.50 for hardbacks and .20 for paperbacks! I'm wanting to go back and see what else I can find, but today looks like it's going to be full already. Maybe tomorrow. : )
There was one book I meant to get, but forgot. It was a story about a couple who quit their jobs and travelled across the US in an RV...it looked interesting, and I picked it up several times and laid it back down, then decided to get it, but forgot to pick it up.
We got 2 boxes and a bag full, and after we left, I turned to Daddy and said, "They didn't really have a whole lot, did they?" lol One year, a couple of years ago, we completely filled the trunk of my car, and another box in the back seat with the girls. THAT's my idea of a book sale! : )
