I thought this was funny...
We were at the grocery store today, and Emma asked for spinach, "It's the only thing I want." I said, "I hate to buy it...I'm afraid it might be contaminated." Then I laughed...I bet I was the only mother in America telling her 11 yr. old dd she shouldn't get spinach.
(We did buy it.) ; )
I tried planting spinach several times this spring, and it never would grow. If I had thought of it soon enough, I'd have tried for a fall crop of it...I guess it's too late to get it started now....unless I experiment with it indoors; but the cats then....huuumm...something to think on....
