The Last Reading Club Meeting and Bear Creek Lane

Today was the last Reading Club Meeting...I have to say, I'm glad it's over. It's been hard going somewhere so much. On the plus side of having to go to the library, I got a whole box of scrapbooking magazines (Creative Memories and another one which I can't remember the name of).
">
They had a fellow there today talking about some of the animals that live around here. (He's holding a turtle in the picture.) Then they had a pizza party. Always fun. : )

Then, when we went to Mom's this evening we got to see a beautiful rainbow.
">
AND, I caught a Perfectly Marvelous Monarch.
">
I walked down Bear Creek Lane to take some pictures, but it was getting dusky and they are kind of dark...I think you can still see how pretty it is.
">A little farther down the path....
">Snake Hole Valley...If the light was better it would be prettier...as Emma says, when the sun hits just right, these hills sing...
">Anna started down the path to meet us...(she's clacking sticks like they get "Vickie" to do in the original "Parent Trap") lol
">This is the horseshoe. I've decided the tree grew into the horseshoe, because the horseshoe hasn't grown.
It's been a nice day. Babies, flowers, butterflies, pizza, rainbows, and a walk in the woods...topped off by ice cream on the way home...that's my kind of day!
