Anna had her birthday party today. There is a nature preserve/park near us, and she has chosen to go there for the last 3 or 4 years. All years before there have been very few other people there, but this year it was PACKED! As we were coming in the attendant at the front gate was telling everyone "There is no parking, but you can drive up and see if you can catch someone leaving." We actually didn't have any trouble finding a place, as soon as we pulled into the parking lot someone left right in front of us, and the only one who seemed to have a "bit" of trouble was my sister and she said they circled twice, but then they got a spot right above our picnic table, so that couldn't have been "too" hard on her. ; )
We had a good time...Anna showed Kiera and Kady how to build a fairy house...they built a really good one, but Daddy's got the picture on his camera and hasn't loaded it up yet. I'll try to post some pictures from his later.

I'm glad they love each other so much! lol
Look out, she's gonna BLOW!!!
BTW, Emma was our photographer for these....didn't she do a wonderful job?
mugging for the camera...
This is what we got her...a fishing kit! (She, Daddy and Emma have gone fishing now, actually)
Money...
and more money!
She made herself a card, lol
I thought Emma did wonderfully well on the pictures. She has several REALLY good closeups of people...I'm going to have to bite the bullet and figure out how to e-mail them to my sister.
We did have a good time today. We bought pizza for the party...Anna asked for pizza one day a couple weeks ago, and I didn't have any, or any I could make, and she said, "A mother should ALWAYS have pizza." So, now I've got several in the freezer, a box kit in the pantry, and we had 8 today. That should hold her for a while. ; )
I can't believe she's almost (Tuesday) 10! It seems SO impossible. I told Daddy this morning, we've had them longer now than we have before they're grown! They are some GOOD girls.
They spent the night with Mom last night. Anna called this morning before we were up, and said she was homesick. I had to get dressed, so when I got ready I called back and asked Mom if she still wanted me to come get her, and Mom said she was sitting on the porch waiting. I was SO glad to have her back. Emma opted to stay with Mom. Anna needed some major snuggling, anyway, and she got petted to her heart's content. The cashier at the pizza place thought she was so cute she threw in an extra order of breadsticks for her. She is awfully cute. And 10! It's unbelievable! 2 numbers now...I remember my 10th birthday...not "too" long ago. ; )
