of having my computer on the fritz! I'm having to use Daddy's (oh, the inconvience!). His is newer and uses Vista, and I don't like change, so we're not really getting along too well. ; ) It freezes up when it sees me coming.
However, mine won't stay online at all, so I can't use it for internet....it does fine for Word and games (the girls are still using it for their games), but I can't get online. How he stands his, though, I don't know. His keyboard is in a drawer, for heaven's sake!
I'm guessing he went someplace or opened something he shouldn't have, and got a virus on mine. I'm dying to read all the blogs I usually keep up with, but they're in my favorites on mine, and I can't get to them. : (
Otherwise, things around here are about the same. I'm still staying with my brother every day. He gets his cast off Sept. 20, so I'll be up there with him until then. He is, however, going back to school for Algebra 1 starting Tuesday, so at least I won't have to teach that anymore He had a doctor app. (checkup) today, so mom was off work to take him to that, and I got a day off. (Yea!) The girls and I (Daddy went with them to the dr.) cleaned out and vacuumed the van, went to the library(I bought a PILE of discarded books! Yea again!)and stopped by the grocery store and post office before going back. We bought the coolest popcicles...spiderman, green goblin and venom....something like super villians meet super heroes...totally cool. : )
We also spotted two hawks and two kingfishers on the way. The first hawk was BIG...probably the biggest I've ever seen in the wild, the other was tiny...a cute little fellow.
I wish I'd had a camera!
