Today we were at my mom's and my niece was up there, too. She was talking in the kitchen about starting back to school and said, "I'm the dorkiest kid in the fifth grade. All the other girls get their clothes from Justice and Limited Too. THAT's why I need a diamond necklace. And I've got $82 saved up." After our first exclamation (why don't you take the money and buy clothes?) I told my sister considering how poor our county is I seriously doubted she was the worst dressed, or the only one who doesn't buy their clothes at those 2 stores. ; )
(Incidentally, she was wearing an american eagle shirt while complaining...I couldn't see the label on her jeans, but I bet there was one)
Anyway...I'm so glad my girls don't have to go through all the cliquishness. They choose their attire for comfort first. If they even think about looks, it's a very distant second. One less thing to worry about. lol
