Last week we went to a rock and gem show. Emma was talking to one of the women there about her interest in rocks, fossils and the like, and the woman asked her if she was studying geology. Emma told her that she wasn't yet, and the woman suggested that if she was really interested, now was the time to learn about it. Emma related all this to me when we left, and I told her I thought I had a book about geology somewhere. I finally got around to looking today. I found 19 books and one magazine.
That's probably more than some libraries would have.
Yeah, we're book-a-holics. ; )
She kind of blanched when I came in with this HUGE pile of books for her. I'll have to sit down with her and look at them with her. They won't seem so foreboding then. lol
