Entry for January 08, 2008

I'm at the library again, because my computer wouldn't do *anything* today. Daddy has been messing about with it, and he always does something to it.
Let's see...what's been happening...
The girls are doing the after school program at the library (the main reason I'm here), and they have ANOTHER new children's librarian. It is, I believe, 6 or 7 since they've been around. I think we're running them off. lol
We've been cleaning and cleaning. Daddy and I took I don't know how many bags of clothes and things to a thrift store today, and I've bagged up more things already! We stopped at the drugstore to get his meds and ate at the soda fountain counter...so quaint! Daddy's been wanting to take me out to one, so that was nice.
He's gone to see about getting the van tire patched...or getting another one if they won't patch it. We ran over a bolt. I rather think I did it on the way to the basketball game, because it was hissing the next day, but we could have picked it up when we were out, too. Anyway, we had a lovely flat tire, and the spare had a smaller hole in it...Daddy patched it with a screw, and amazingly, it held for three days! I'm so glad I've got a "handy-man" around. He's fairly useful.
