Happy Birthday to ME! (Early)

Daddy took me out for my birthday today...a little early, but mom was home, so we had a babysitter. If we had it to do over again, we'd take them with us, but it still was a nice evening. We went out to eat, and to a bookstore. The best kinds of birthdays. My actual b-day isn't until Monday, but we usually go up to mom's on Monday evening, so I wanted to go ahead and do just in case we don't get to go again, although I'm thinking of taking everyone out Monday with my b-day $$. The resturant I had in mind today is usually fairly expensive (for us), and I wasn't sure if Daddy would have enough money for everyone, then when we got there (as we were leaving, actually) we saw a poster for "Kids Days" Thursdays and Saturdays, and .99 Kids meals! If we'd known that, we would have taken them. Oh, well.
We left the bookstore fairly quickly, too...it's just dreadful to look at all those wonderful books and not be able to give them all a good home. ; ) Oh, some of the books I saw! Wonderful, Wonderful. (In case you wondered...I'm drooling. lol) They had a pop-up Winnie-the-Pooh book, with the most wonderful pop-ups ever! (I'm a sucker for Winnie-ther-Pooh) And the...oh, what were they called...instructional?....the books of lists and facts and trivia and things...what ARE they called? Facts and things. Anyway, so many of those...shelves and shelves. And History...I'm a sucker for history books, too . Maybe I can take some of my b-day $$ over there and spend it.
Oh, and the kids books and things...magnetic dolls with clothes, books of paint-by-number window clings, body art with crayons, designing clothes...Wow! I LOVE a good bookstore!
