Entry for December 06, 2007

I did ~ ~ NOTHING ~ ~ today! It was SO nice. lol
Mom gave me my Christmas present yesterday. An electric blanket! Wonderful! I was hoping that's what she had gotten me. ; ) Daddy and I slept SO nice last night we just didn't want to get out of bed, so I didn't. I read some, then the girls came in and got in bed with me and we watched a few episodes of The Beverly Hillbillies we hadn't seen yet.
I did have to get up eventually...Daddy waited on me quite a bit; bringing me freshly squozen orange juice and popcorn, but I finally felt hungrier for "real" food. Although I still didn't want to cook, so I just ate what I could dig up. lol
I may go back to bed eventually and read. I found a new book...The Simple Faith of Mister Rogers. It's shaping up to be a good one. I got one for mom's Christmas present while I was at it, and the coolest thing; when I was in line at the checkout the woman in line behind me looked at my book and said, "That's a good book. He was a good man. I went to college with him." How cool is that! I told Daddy it really is a small world after all.
